When can I start my parents' green card application, after interview or after oath? I want to start early. Normally how far between interview and oath?

You can start collecting the paperwork needed. Their marriage certificate etc....
But sign and mail it in only after the oath.

Marriage certificate...only for your father...to prove that he was married to your mother when you were married...and you were born in wedlock....
Slightly different procedure for kids born out of wedlock to bring their father in.
