I DID ANSWER YOUR QUESTION... I SAID IF YOU
DO NOT PRESENT A REFUGEE TRAVEL DOCUMENT
"OR" A GREEN CARD YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCESS THE VISA. WHICH MEANS IN MY UNDERSTANDING AND MOST PEOPLE...THAT
IF YOU PRESENT YOUR REFUGEE TRAVEL DOCUMENT (SHOULD BE A PASSPORT ISSUED BY THE US GOVERMENT)
WITHOUT THE GREEN CARD "YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PROCESS YOUR VISA."

Thank you for prompt reply, but my question was if it would be okay taking just the refugee travel document without the green card.
Cordially I remain,
Veronica.

If you do NOT present either a refugee travel document or green card we are not able to give you the visa.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to visit Spain next summer and I was wondering if I'm going to able to do so. I was reading the requirements on your website and I have a few questions.
First of all, I'm a Peruvian national. My current status in this country is "Asylee" and I will be elegible to apply for Permanent Residency on April of this year. However, I won't have my green card by the time I want to travel due to the time that they take. I'm currently applying for a Refugee Travel Document and I will probably get it on April/May of this year. I was wondering if it would be okay that I won't have a green card in hand by the time I want to travel.
Also, I was wondering how much ahead of time I should apply for the visa since it says it takes 4 to 6 weeks to process, and sometimes it can even take more. I would like to travel by mid or end of May. I'm planning on making Spain my main destination, but I also want to visit Italy, France, and Germany for a few days. Finally, do I have to make an appointment ahead of time to apply for this visa or do you do walk-ins?
Thank you very much in advance,
Veronica"
