Does anyone know if South Korea and China are accepting RP? I found conflicting information about South Korea when I searched on this forum. Some said yes and some said no. Can anyone recently applied for visas from these two countries confirm that. Thank you in adavance.

I know that a former client got a visa from South Korea a couple weeks ago.
With respect to the Chinese, all I can say is that they did accept RPs and RTDs but quietly stopped just before the Olympics because they were paranoid. I am not sure if the old policy has been reinstated.

Thanks for the quick respond to my posting. An acquaintance of mine had problem getting a Chinese visa last May because he was an RTD holder so I contacted the Chinese Consulate in June to find out if the Consulate will issue RP holder a visa and the processing time. I received a replied email that it will take 4 working days. I assumed it meant Chinese Consulate will accept RP; otherwise, they can just told me no.
