is green card just a card or is it a stamp on passport, if it is a stamp, do we get stamp on our national passport (passport that was issued by country of birth), or do we get the stamp on travel document? please let me know somebody who got greencard through assylum, because i do not want stamp on my national passport.

thanks and god bless

My came in a form of a card. Can't comment on the rest since I'm not sure but can confirm that it does come in the form of a card.

thanks, i googled it too and it says it is a card, you can get temporary stamp after approval before receiving card. but thanks again.
god bless you

i got I-94 stamped and mailed to me when i got approved for asylum i guess i can use i-94 with travel docement so in this case i would say my national passport was not stamped.

thanks for your reply though

Oh, good for you. You don't need to carry the I94. Just the travel document. You don't even have to fill out an I94 either. You have indefinite leave to remain in the US.
