Hello All,

I am so sorry to trouble everyone. I was talking to one of my friends who has also a GC and has travelled out atleast twice out of USA..

Is there any law, that we must travel on our GC before we apply for our citizenship..

I got my GC on 10/08/04.. I have never travelled outside the US even for a day... Stayed here all the time..

I already applied for my N400. I also put "0" days for travel outside the USA.
Do i have to be worried ??

Kindly advice.

Absolutely not, but in fact it will be easier for you as USCIS will repect your initial desire to be a permanent resident which you have fully demonstrated.

I think we should worry if there are more trips outside US. You are 100% safe and USCIS will like you more.

Thanks all of you..... I am so relaxed now :-).. Btw, what would i do without all of you.....

Just have one word for all of you.... YOU GUYS ROCK !!!!!!! :-)

Thanks a ton!!!!!

You need to differentiate between beer buddies and individuals from whom you can get advice ;) .... mixing these two group. BIG NO NO :D

And, as other already stated you don't need to worry. :)

Is your friend a travel agent by any chance? :)

Hilarious! You made my day!

I remember the other day there was this dude who had put in only one common N-400 application for himself and his spouse with a check for $1350 and was wondering why the application got returned for incorrect fee. That had made my day as well.
