Hi
I have few doubts.
I . We have green cards and now time to submit N-400. My spouse do not work.Do we need to submit n-400 speparately?
2. If we filled up N-400 separately(including fess) and put it into separate envelopes and then put this two envelopes in one big envelope and sent it so that our process will be performed simultaneously.
3 Or is it better to send seprate envelope(application) from post office in same time.
4. I had a speeding ticket in 2001 in different state before getting green card(2004) and I paid $85 fine. No points deduction, Should I mention that?
5. I had a black ice related accident in 2007, but no point or fine, but insurance company paid the damage. Should I mention that and if I mention in which column.
Your help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

1. Each of you submits own application
2. I dont think it matters.
3. Send both in one envelope.
4. Some people do, some dont. I will not as the fine is under $500.
5. I have no idea what black ice is.

You can submit separately or together. There's no guarantees they will be processed together if you file either way.
I wouldn't worry about disclosing a minor speeding ticket, although technically you are supposed to disclose if you were ever cited.
As for the car accident, no need to disclose it unless there were criminal charges involved.

Both need to have different Forms filled.

Here is what i did....
- Filled 2 separate packets with forms and relevant supporting documents for each.
- Put these two separate brown envelops in one USPS Priority (Not Express because i was not worried about gaining couple days) and mailed it.

Our application was processed at the same time although you receive separate confirmation letters. Since my wife was out of Country, she could not attend the Finger Printing with me. I went for scheduled Finger Printing and we had to postpone her date. But even though the finger printing was done on separate days, our interview was scheduled on same day.

Again, you can try your best and hope things move in the direction you want but as Bobsmyth mentioned, there is no guarantee. But no harm trying..... It worked for me.

GoodLuck,

I have no idea what black ice is.

This usually happens in the winter, when snow melts on the roadways. A thin layer of ice forms over asphalt, making it difficult to see. Hitting a patch of black ice can cause the driver to spin out/lose control of the vehicle.
