Soft LUD's on I-485

I started seeing soft LUD's (10/03/08 & 10/06/08) on mine & spouse I-485's (but no status updates). I am not sure, if that is good or bad. Any idea what could be happening or any guesses? All details in my signature.

I had soft LUD's for me and my spouse on I-485, I-140 and I-765 on 9/27 and 9/29.
I am not sure if this means anything.

Both of you have PDs 2002...
Maybe this coming month's VB will show availability of visa for your PDs. Keep your fingers crossed...

To add to that, though I am eligible for 2yr on my second EAD, I only got 1yr. So I am hopeful, that the dates might touch 2002 soon.

And there's an LUD on I-140 on 07/30/08 as well, which was approved in early 2005.

maple9, it is good to be optimistic, but dont let it ruin your life.most of the people has been issues 1 year ead(not means all will get GC's) and LUDS can be anything. I am worried now a days about the LUDs. see this article.

There is lots of auditing going on now. If somebody spot a problem with your application, you are doomed.So my advise is not worry too much until you get a mail. The whole trend is not very positive. If this below rule comes into effect we will quadraple number of legals-> illegals in the country.
