I got married in jordan, my husband is jordanian. He had is second interview and they told him we have to send your fingerprints to washington before you can get your visa for the united states. They told him 4-6 weeks and its been 4 months. We sent emails, and they are so hard to get a hold of. They told us it may take more than 4-6 weeks, but i didn't think it would take this long. They dont tell you anything. I have been away from my husband for a year and 2 months because I had to come back to the united states and haven't been able to go back because of financial problems. Is it normal to take this long? Is there anything I can do?
 
tell him to contact the united states of america embassy in amman ... they might sent him letter by mail , the mail in jordan always lost ... where your husband live in jordan . make sure that he didnt changed his phone number since he applied for the visa ,, coz sometimes they call people who have to contact them or what ever ...

we contacted the embassy already and they said they are just waiting on washington, but i was worried because its taking longer than they said. you would think we would get a call or a letter explaining this. anyways..thank you all
 
you may want to try to find FBI's email, it has circulated around the forum, and email them about your name check.
