I had filed for family based petition for my sister in 1993. I just received notification from National Visa center to send application fees for her and her husband and son. Her son was eight years old when I filed the petition (born in 1985). Will he be allowed to immigrate with his parents if he is over 21 when they finally get a visa?

thanks

No. He won't be able to come here if he will be above 21. My brother and sister could not come here because of that reson. Sorry. He should try student /H1 visa.

Get a lawyer 6 months before he reaches 21 yrs.You may be surprise to know he can migrate with his parent. It will cost you about one thousand US dollars. My relatives went through that process.

about sponsorship

Can somebody please tell me?
A US citizen can file for siblings greencard. But can he at the same time file for brother in law or sister in law's greencard? or even his nephew?

I130 processing date is in 2001. You applied in 1993, how come you still have not got their greencard applications approved? Thanks for clarifying.

because it's not about the time it takes to process I-130. It's about waiting for the immigrant visa number, which takes about 12 years for siblings of USCs now.

I have a question for guru's.
My friend is planning to get married to a USC, August 2005. My friend's daughter who is already in USA on F-1 is 19 years old. Would my friend be able to include her daughter in her green card petition?
Thanks friends
