Hello,
I'll be applying for citizenship in about a month, I'm 19 and I have been living as a permanent residence in CT since I was 5.
I would like some help/clarification for a few things that might affect my citizenship application.
I have never been arrested, detained etc... for anything. However, when I was 17 I received a ticket or infraction slip for simple trespass. The situation was that I arrived with my sports team at my school for a tournament, since the door to the locker room was locked we tried opening it the way we usually do (pushing one side and prying the other) and we got in. However that time the alarm must have gone off and the janitors called the police. Long story short since I was the one that opened the door So I fessed up and I received a $95 infraction/ticket slip for simple trespass.
Will I have to include the infraction in the N-400 application? Because according to Connecticut law simple trespass is just an infraction?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank You
