Should US ask for mandatory duty in Iraq from Green Card people??.

I think they should draft Permanent Resident for atleast 1 year duty in Iraq. This would be a good way for Green Card Holders to be americans.

It's certainly a quick route to citizenship. Are you planning on enlisting voluntarily, and not waiting?
 
Yes why not. I think this kind of draft is very essential for attact and defence capability of the US. I guess, John Ashcroft and likes of him would like the idead.
 
Not a bright idea from the US defense point either. Who knows the alien soldiers might turn against the US-citizen soldiers because of all the frustrations they faced during the GC process ... and on top of that ... sent to Iraq .. wow ... for what ??

Yeah, the US military is really hurting unless they get a couple
of thousand Indian computer programmers and other professionals most of which have
never even used a gun. I hope Asscruft is reading this board
and realizes the dire situation the US military will face unless
these 485 killing machines can be armed.
