Should the sponsor be present for Parent's GC interview?

Title says it all...

Does USCIS explicitly ask the sponsor to be physically present for parents GC interview? Does the interview letter mention this?

If the sponsor is not available during the interview, can someone else attend the interview for translation?

By sponsor if you mean petitioner, then Yes.

You have to reschedule your interview you (the petitioner) cannot make it.

Yes, I mean the petitioner. I've seen Petitioner being called for interview in Spouse case (USC filing for Spouse). Not seen much for parents case (USC filing for Parents).

That is my best understanding. Have you looked at the interview letter? I think it does say that. I dont have mine anymore since they took it at the interview
