Hey, everyone,

I got married in September to USC and am preparing the I-130, I-485, i-131, i-765 concurrently.

I have two quick questions:

1) On the I-485 , application type.

I saw some people say to select A (an immigration petition giving me an immediately avaiable visa number has been approved. Attached a cpy of approval notice, ....)

I am going to file I-130 and I-485 concurrently, so I do not have the approval notice yet, what I can provide them as an appoval notice?

2) Should I send two packages, one for I-130 and another for I-485 ? Or can I put all of forms in the same enevlope send to INS? I guess I want to know which way is easier for INS locate and process my documents.

thank you very much for your replying. :)

In your case, the instructions on Part 2.a from I-485 should be interpreted this way.
Attach a relative visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.
This means you should submit the I-130 with the I-485 and all forms go in the same package.

See above

LucyMO,Congratulation for your GC stamped!!!! :D

I am so simliar with your case, J-1--> F-1--> H1-->GC, and I am in Atlanta too. :p You mention a cover letter, what should I put in the cover letter? A list of everything in the package, OR a form letter to explain my situation from J1-> F-1-->h1 and now apply GC?

a list of everything in the package plus the basis of application (marriage to USC). :) good luck!
