Should I change jobs by transferring H1B or on EAD and AC21

Hi,

EB2;RD 6/2007;

I plan on changing jobs after 6 months. On changing jobs, should I ask the new employer to do a H1B transfer or just take the job on the EAD.

I know I could do either, but the reason I ask is because if the EAD or GC process runs into some weird problem, I will at least have the H1B and start fresh if I have to.

Is this a right assumption?

----------------------------you can join by EAD but H1 transfer is good for you

Return on AP and use of H1 transfer v/s EAD on AC21 job 180+d

What if someone uses his AP to return back to US and after 180+d changes his job. Will the new employer be able to file H1 transfer and CIS will accept or does AP entry automatically void H1B in which case only EAD can be used.

I've heard conflicting answers on this one although one gentleman pointed out the Cronin Memorandum that states coming back on AP does not void H1 but simply a parolee status.

Please advise what is the right policy on AC21> H1 v/s EAD for a candidate that has used Advance Parole to come back even though he may have a valid H1 extension but it may not be stamped in passport
