I filed my I -751 on 9/12, The Check was cashed a few days after that and i've received my Notification.

On 9/14 i received my receipt notice I-797C. In the letter it stated that i would receive another appointment for Biometrics. Notice has NOT come as yet!

I've been reading online and see that many have filed after my date and have already received the Biometrics Notification letter.

Is there anyone else out there in the same situation?

I filed in May and didn't get my fingerprints notice till September ( look at my signature). What you can do is after 30-45 days, call them and ask for it, thats what I did and they sent me an email later saying it was in process and I received it a few weeks later. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do as they will tell u its on a first-come, first served basis and they are swamped. Some offices take longer than others to send out FP notices

I've already been waiting about 46 days since they received my inital application. (Sep14th is stated on their Letter as the receipt date) I'll call them Monday and se what's Up!

As long as you file the I-751 in the 90 days window afforded you. The actual card can expire. Carry a copy of the I-751 reciept notice to prove the card is still OK OR take the card and notice and valid foreign passport to an Infopass appt in order to get an I-551 or ADIT stamp in the passport.

I'm going out the country for 2 weeks in December and wanted this process over before i went. But it looks like that's not going to happen as i've not even received the F/P appointment. Of course now there is also the chance that they'll schedule a F/P appointment for me during the period that i'm not here.

The real issue here is that I'm filing as Single, as my American wife divorced me, so everthing is on edge! I have the one year Auto extension that they have sent, but that's not what i was hoping for, its nice to have but i wanted to know sooner than later regarding my overall status. Wheather one likes it or not it Puts your life on Hold.

They have been very slow sending out ASC notices, but it varies a lot by local office (smaller midwest offices seem to be reasonably ok, for example). It may be useful to state which ASC office you need to (or expect to have) to go to and try to see if there are any patterns (as in how long does it take per office?).
