Sept 2002 Filers, share your 2nd FP details

Isn't too early apply for EAD since it is expiring in Oct. Can't you only apply 3 months before the expiration date?
 
Hi Yesil,

I have no idea whether it is too early to apply for EAD. Right now it is 6 months before. Looking at the time VSC is taking these days to approve EADs (more than 4 months), I don't think it is a bad idea to apply for EAD atleast 4 -5 months in advance.

Apply EAD as early as you can. It is taking more than 4 months anyway. You will spare yourself the hassle of interim-EAD. If you get approved meanwhile- you may lose the money, but I think we can live with it, having to spent some more on GC.

No FP2 yet fro me.
 
I received my FP2 last week. Scheduled on 5/28. My FP1 was in Boston. But this time it is in Manchester, NH.

Any one has experience at this center.

Do they allow early FP?

Is there parking lots ?

problem- i just moved to new jersey from new york city. should i inform them about the change of address or wait for fp notice first through my lawyer, any thoughts?

You better inform them. There is chance that change of address may trigger you second FP or approval.
 
2nd FP

I got my 2nd FP done on April 14, and Webside just got updated as it was received on April 20th.

It is so confusing to see some get approved apprx. within 1 month of the 2nd FP, some are still waiting after 8 months. I just hope that approval for all Sep 02 filers will come soon.

When if happens, if it happens, I don't know if it will be a joy, but it sure will be a relief.

Anybody had any surprises, if you go for an early FP at Manchester, NH?

Can I go to Boston (because they work on Saturday.) instead of Manchester even though appointment scheduled at Manchester office?

My 2nd FP was done on April 13th. The online status first changed on April 20th..saying that they recvd the FP info on April 20th. Eversince, the message kept on changing...from April 20th, then April 22nd, then April 23rd...and today it is April 25th. I am not sure whats going on.

I have not recd an FP2 notice yet, Should I be concerned? I called USCIS and they told me the same old thing, we are processing feb15, 02...

2nd fp scheduled for June 17. I don't know whether I should try for early fp or not. I've heard some conflicting theories about early fp on this forum.

I was out of job for about 6 months, and now working on much lower
salary, should I be concerned ?

Much lower slary should be reason for concern. But there have been several postings with approvals with lower salaries. 6 mo without job should not matter much.
