Sep 2003 EB2 Concurrent FP done

I got my FP done couple of days back (Aug-10 2004). My I1485 LUD changed saying that they have received my FP and they have resumed processing my case. Still waiting for my wife FP notice.

1. Does any one knows how long does it take for them to adjudicate I1485, once they receive FP.

2. Do (USCIS) they still have to receive FBI name clearance before they can proceed ??

I think the intent is to only ask for FP if they feel the case will be adjucated before the FP expires so this should mean you will be processed in at most 15 months (gurus correct me if I'm wrong about how long FP is good for).

But, according to the latest processing dates though you should be handled sooner than that -- in about 13 months if the VSC doesn't fall behind any further (they claim to be at July 13 2002 currently although many earlier cases have yet to be processed) and possibly in 4 - 6 months based (probably optimistically) on the VSC continuing to process cases as quickly as they have been recently.

I have a ND of 10/23/03 (no FP notice yet) and I'm hoping that we'll see the optimistic scenario...

I'm not sure about the name clearance question...
