My I-140 details are:

Extraordinary Ability Alien
ND 9/27/2003 (NSC)
No RFE
Still pending....

Does anybody know: what is the longest it will take to get my I140 approved????
 
Guys,

Hope you have noticed that they are still processing Sep 9th applications (EB3 category) in the USCIS website. Its more than 15 days since they made the last update. When I talked to a representative in the USCIS office last month they said they update it twice in a month. What is going on now ???.

My case - I am scheduled for FP on May 20th. Do you think they will touch file only after receiving the FP results from FBI ?. Your inputs are greatly appreciated.

I am in same boat. Haven't yet recieved a FP notice also. Have you recieved a finger print notice? Which state do you reside in ?

Did you get Finger print Notice? Also which state do you reside? I haven't seen any progress on Sept 25th onwards for last couple of weeks. The daily scan is reporting that. I was thinking that they might be either be under an "lazy" officer or Stuck in somewhere. Also finger print is based on states that you reside.
 
The ND for my I-485, AP and EAD is April 27, 2004. I am in Michigan.
Do you know when I can get the Fingerprint?
Does the Fingerprint make the I-140 go quicker?

Well i was wondering since a lot of people after sept and in sept got finger print notices and with the new memo,I understand that it would definately help to have that.

Finally I recieved the FP notices for myself and my wife.

I140/485 NSC
ND 09/30/2004
I-140 -- Pending
EAD/AP approved last Novemeber(2003).
FP Notice : sent 05/13/2004 and recieved Today

Congrats on FP! When is your FP? Are you EB-2 or EB-3 category?

RFE Not yet replied. Looks like another month. Employer is still preparing some more documents as per attorney's advise. Attorney was not happy with the documents given to him earlier.
