Selecting US Consulate for TD Visa

Hi all,
I am a resident of Canada and I want to apply for TD visa. I live in Ontario and the US consulate dates are hard to find and has over 4 months of waiting period. Can I go to other provinces to get TD Visa? Is it allowed?

Also, I already submitted DS-160 form and selected Ottawa as visa consulate, can I create a new DS-160 if I go to other provinces?

Anyone has any experience/advise to share?

I'll assume you aren't a CDn citizen.

US doesn't care where you go for an TD. Wherever is convenient for you.
