Second fingerprint notice, should we expect approval soon????

My gc was approved on september 2007, my husband's still pending. We went to infopass on 11/21/08 and the IO said our files were separated. She asked us to bring a copy of the approved notice for the i140, a copy of the approved notice of my i-485 and copy of my green card. We took all the docs the same day and gave them to her, she said she was going to physically send this to texas (in the mail, because we are in dc) and that our files will be put together and he will be approved, given that his pd is current.
Today we got FP notice, for 12/16/08. Should we expect approval soon? His pd is current

We just came back from Infopass...
The IO was very nice, she said she received an email from TSC regarding our case (this infopass is a follow up from our 11/21/08 appointment) that 2nd fingerprints were sent to my husband so he can get approved.
She told us someone actually took my husbands file and physically send the FP notice. And then she took the phone and called the IO there (the one who send the email) but she was not there and she left a message.
I hope after 2nd fp will see approval. I am at the end of my rope with this, ....,
