We have received FP Notices for both me and my wife today.

JLever, how to do early Finger Print?

Hi, JLever, it seems that you did early FP very smoothly. When did you get San Jose INS? Did you meet any problems when you tried to enter it? It is said some people tried to do early FP, but the guards refused them. And before you did FP, what kind of form did you fill?
Totally how long did you cost to finish FP?

Had no problems at all.

Reached the INS office in San Jose at 8.35 am and was out by 9.00 am

The gaurd checked the notice and gave us a form to fill in( just a simple form- need to fill in our name etc) once you completed the form, you will be issued a token. On your token call, you will be assisted with an fingure printing expert to a FP machine, and in another 5 minutes you are done.

They take the notice and hand us over the form that we fill in at the INS office.

That\'s it, it is very simple and fast too.

Is only drive license enough?

I have another question: when to do FP, which photo ID should be taken? Is only drive license enough? Or must I take passport?

You gor to take the Original, they will keep it and give us a form which mentions that our FP was completed on... at...

Drivers License is enough
you may choose to take your passport along too.

In case you have your EAD or iEAD, you need to take them too.

Got FP notice on 5/2/02

Hi My Details are:
WAC 02-105-xxxxx
RD 02/04/02
ND 02/06/02
FP Notice received 05/02/02
FP scheduled 06/07/02

Going to try today lets see.
 
Got FP done today at SJC

Was a Breeze, Reached there 1:30 PM and was out by
2:00 PM Got FP done for Self, Wife and Son
 
FP - ND 04/29, Schd 06/07, Done 05/04; 485 - RD 02/07, ND 02/13, WAC-02-111-xxxxx

Did FP on SAT, went @ 12.15pm and was out by 12.45.
It was really easy.
