replacement labor

GP111 and other Gurus,

I am very new to this forum and have a question on replacement labor.

My company has a approved labor with MS + 5yrs experience.

I have BSc + MSc with 5 yrs of experience.
I have evaluated my degree and that certifies it is equivalent of US MS.

Will I be able to use this LC?

Any comments very much appreciated.

Jump on it if your degree and experience matches the requirement.Look at all the people like us who are stuck for years withour LC approval and have no clue when BPC would start processing cases.

If you have an option,just go for it and save useful time...

How long for labor papers to get to Lawyer

My Labor was certified on Mar30 2005. My lawyer says he hasn't recieved the papers yet. How long does it take? AVM was updated on Mar31 as certified.

The approved LC requires MS + 5 years.

My only concern is, In US 6 years degree is consider as MS.
Where as my degree is 3 years BSc + 2 years MSc.

So, I am not sure whether it is a match.

Btw, my LC also struck with BEC :(

Thanks Gp111. I think the labor needs BS in Electrical Engineering and Experiance in Oracle. Where as I have M.S + 3 years and I have experiance in J2EE and oracle too. I sent the same to my lawyer. What is your gut feeling. Will my experiance and qulaifications be OK to go for it.

Also...My lawyer said the following...Is it 100% true..

"Unfortunately your degree is in Chemical Engineering, not Electrical Engineering. We have an evaluation that says that your MS in Chemical Engineering plus your experience are equivalent to a BSCS"

thanks folks great work for a moment i thought they have past my number but it seems by case no is mixed with those that were submitted on 4/4 mine was 4/11 so i guess i am still waiting.

do we have any idea on how many do we have before we get to 4/11.

Thanks Raj. Thought you retired from the group due to no posting of approved cases. I feel depressed if I don't see this everyday. So decided to do your job yesterday... Looks like you are back.. Let me know if you are tired and I will back you up for this work...
 
Looks like 4/11/2003 has more .031 and .032 cases. We will know how many gets approved on time and what is the pattern... Total 162 cases in 4/11/2003. I think 4/11/2003 will be done only by end of May 2005.

my company has 3 cases on the same date for 4/11. i am getting anxious now as mine is among the first 20 or so cases in 4/11 :). should have something by next week it seems. ..
