San Francisco Regional DOL Tracker

Approvals on 3/31

Case#----Cert-Rd Date--DOTCODE
09559274 3/31 4/4/2003 999.173-011
09559276 3/31 4/4/2003 999.271-023
09559278 3/31 4/4/2003 999.413-011
09559288 3/31 4/4/2003 999.351-011
09559293 3/31 4/4/2003 999.252-021
09559307 3/31 4/4/2003 999.319-092

Some of the cases sr1234 reported are not in my spreadsheet, but are in GP111's spreadsheet. From now on I have merged my spreadsheet with GP111's.

For reasons known to DOL, for cases certified on 3/29, I found only one case out of 15 checked. It looks some time issues in updating the AVM.

Can somebody help me on the following questions?

1. What is DOT code for?
2. Is it possible that DOL doesn't process in the order of case number for cases with the same RD? Poor me, lots of lots of cases before and after my case # are certified (RD 4/4/03), but I still hear my status of "... has been received on...". Any insight into this situation?
3. Is there any rejected cases recently in SF DOL?
4. How often is the AVM updated?

Thanks!

Thanks Raj. I agree with you that the AVM works so weirdly. That's good that you have merged the two spreadsheets, in total how many cases are there in APR-04. As per GP, there are around 1050 cases for APR-03.

Thanks

Have the same questions, same situation - RD 4/4/03, with cases before and after mine... Not that it helps...

Got it at last

I agree. There is definitly a lag in the AVM. I got a massage from my law firm. My LC is approved. But the AVM still says received.

RD - April 11th
Case # 09559585

I am on my 9th year extension of H1B due to a previously approved I-140. I changed jobs just before my old company folded and started at the end of the que. This is the most frustrating episode of my life.

Let me say a big thank you to all of you who help keep this forum updated. Your service is greatly appreciated.

Really? It is a big surprise. My case is in the same day as yours. Also, my case # is smaller than yours. I heard nothing from my lawyer. When did you receive notice? Today? Hope it is not a joke at the fool day(4/1). :)

No this is not an April Fools Joke. I am very surprised myself. I did not expect my case to be taken up for at least two more weeks.

FLCDATACDENTER - Uploaded latest cases with RD of Sep2004.

FLC Datacenter has uploaded data files until Sep 2004 in the following link.

http://www.flcdatacenter.com/CasePerm.aspx

Now that all of these cases are in BEC's, atleast for those people who are kept in dark by employers/attorneys about their case#'s can find their case# here. This also helps to find hw many cases are pending each month/day, if interested.

Also some news on unconfirmed Dallas BEC Certififed case. from

Raj,any new updates??

perm database file

How do you open this file (.mdb). Do you necessarily need to have MS Access to view it? Any other way of viewing the databse?

Case not in database

My case was transmitted to DOL on Sep 20th, 2004, but this database is only till Sep 17th 2004. What does that mean? Will BEC stop entering data for cases after this and wait till the queue gets cleared before moving on?

This is probably a question that no one has an answer for, but I asked 'coz I just cannot believe my luck!

I wouldn't worry too much if the access database files put out by the DOL don't have your case in it. Basically from what I understand this database is outdated and useless in the present context.

For eg. I found my case in one of the files BUT it says the last activity reported is that it was Recd at Regional, however since then I've recd and responded to the 45-day letter from the BPC... so this database is old and outdated information... probably not something that was kept up to date because of the creation of the BPCs..

What should be important is if the box that contains your physical document was opened by the BPC and entered into their "new database". If yes, you would receive the 45-day letter....

ok - I am not a lawyer.. this is just my opinion... blah blah blah.
you know what to do. :)

I am having difficulty understanding how the Access database compares to the spreadsheets posted here. For April-03 there are over 6000 cases but the spreadsheets have just over 1000. Also cases have been certified on dates such as 23rd April (which is my date) and lots of others too. Some show cases as received on 30th April-03 and certified on 15th May-03. Please can someone explain this to me.

Thanks!

Actually I figured it out ... this has all cases nationally and not just CA so cases in CT, for example, were approved within two weeks while us poor suckers in CA have been waiting for YEARS!~

There is a delay between being processed cases and AVM. So it is possible SF DOL is processing 4/11 cases right now. Hopefully.

I heard from one of my friend, other than 031 or 032 dot codes will be done much faster within the selected period time frame.
