Hello,
I was looking at the reasons that could bar an asylee to enter the U.S. and a bit about "working without authorization" caught my eye. While in college, I used to work off-campus during the summer using my Social Security Card. Would you think that could prevent me from entering the United States?
Please note that I received a derivative asylee status last year only. Also, a number of fellow compatriots including my best friends have traveled back ( they are/were F-1 visa holders though ) without any trouble despite working illegally while in college. Can anybody share his or her experiences please?
