attorney said good chance of approval based on past trends

now question i-140 and i-485

benefits and non benefits of concurrent processing

i am thinking to risk concurrent porcessing and see what happens
i am tired of this mental torture on my future

I have been trying to get the goods on what the risks of concurrent processing are.

Our i-140 was filed last Nov (but not the i-485). I too am very frustrated by the uncertainty and can't figure out why our lawyer did not file concurrently.

What have you found the risks are with concurrent filing?

1.Does anyone know whats the advantage between concurrent and non-concurent filling? My company ppl says if we file in non-concurrent 140 will get approved within 3 months. How that will be possible?since INS is processing cases which are 8-9 months old,how we can get approval in 3 months?

2.Also if we file concurrent , BCIS give more RFE on 140. is that true?

Not sure exactly whats the pros and cons of concurrent and non-concurrent processing

Anyone can throw some lights on this?

Thanks a lot.

-------- I don’t think service center are approving I-140 in 3 months if not filed with I-485, the benefit of filing I-485with I-140 is that you will get earlied PD for I-485, if your employer has only filed I-140 and you have receipt of I-140 you can file I-485 immediately by attaching the I-140 receipt and file for EAD, AP
2.Also if we file concurrent, BCIS give more RFE on 140. is that true?
-------- That is not true, depends on the documents filed with I-140, for most of RFE they ask employer financial documents or Education evaluation if the I-140 is filled with correct documents and education evaluation matches with LC then normally it is ok, Every case is different and can not be generalized. Different service center have different dates.
