gcsoon - my situation is just like yours

PD- 97
RD- 2/01
ND- 3/01
RFE- 11/20/01 ( W2 and Tax return for 2000,Emp Verification Letter, 3paystubs, Marriage ceritificate, Employment authorization for the years I worked while I was on F-1 and my Practical Training, Birth Certificate)
RFE Replied- 01/25/02
AVM Updated- 02/1/02
I changed job so the employer letter and paystubs was not from the sponsering company.My job title was also different from my previouse work but the responsibilities were the same. I suspect mine was send to a INS H.Q to be reviewed.
So far nothing is almost a month and 21 days.
I am wondering if gcsoon changed job also or not??

AVM changed to : This case is approved....

on March 21,2002.

Now waiting for the approval notice.

Here are my details :

RD : 4/30
ND : 6/28
AP/EDA : approved and received long ago.
RFE issued on Feb 13,2002, for (1) certificate of non-availability of birth certificate (2) 3 recent pay stubs.
Attorney responded on Mar 13,2002.
AVM updated to RFE response received : March 18,2002.
AVM updated to approved : March 21, 2002.

It appears that INS is clearing all the RFE cases.
Wishing good luck to people waiting for approval.
Will update when I receice approval notice.

RFE received WAC -01-224

Finally, we heard something from the INS the REF is for:
1) Letter from the employer on original letterhead showing full-time employment in a permanent job, and
2) Form W-2 for the last three years to corroborate the employment letter.

My attorney will send that out by Monday or Tuesday, March 26th. Any idea if sending by courier helps or harms???

Received courtesy copy of approval for self, wife and kid yesteday (3/21). Its been a long wait with PD 11/97 EB3 India. THe AVM has been updated with message that the case was approved on March 18th. Our sincere thanks for this board and its dedicated members, PCee, Carter Yen, Ciba and so many others. Also thanks to Rajiv Khanna for sponsoring this site. Now on to passport stamping at Phoenix! ( for details please refer to Pcee summary of May filers .
