Rfe Reseived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing of the kind, Lazerthegreat. The date changes means that they have looked at or at least opened your case.
How would you explain the date being still before?
This does not make sence from a programmers standpoint and logical standpoint as well. Otherwise the date would be called, "Last Login Date" or something like that. So they most probably are looking at your case...
Keep us in the loop!

I am worried about CIS's move to work on cases well into 2000 while many cases from late 1999 early 2000 are pending. One would think they would learn from the recent lawsuit - and that they would try to be fair and work cases in the order recieved.

I agree with the comment of contact Nebraska about your cases status if you are well before oct. 2000. I hope everyone hears something positive soon.

You know...the biggest blessing of becoming a US Citizen is to not have to EVER deal with CIS.

Thank you ashley for your replay.

I checked case status online and the last update date changed to yesterday 03/09/2005, but nothing in my mailbox yet. hopefully that's a good sign.

good luck to ya

My wifes last update changed yesterday as well, ND Oct 2000. For me it took about 10 days after that to change to RFE request sent... I hope it's the same timeline this time....

"last updated"...?

i been checking this for last three days..and surprisingly
every day it would show the date am checking on that day.
so that means it could be just technical gimmic not in real
they updated.....

Ashly! did your online dates changed when you were about to receive your RFE?
If you don't know, can you plz log on to your account at CIS website and look at "Last Updated" date and let us know what it shows over there.
thanks,

That date is when you logged on...My ND date is 06/01 and it shows the date as March 10th, 8:00PM...when I just logged on. I dont think anyone is looking at my application at 8:00PM...its 8:15 now

i checked my portfolio on march 8th it said last updated on march 8
then on 9th it said updated on 9th so as today last updated on 10th.

Paramvir1! Since how long this has been happening?

I started to check my account about 3 days ago (when Ashly announced she had received RFE and my date is similar to hers Oct 2000). And it was changing everyday till yesterday. Today 03/10/05 it did not change. So tell for how many days your dates are changing online?

lazerthe great..same like you..for last three days..i been checking this.and am very sure tomorrow it will show last updated on march11.

Well! This is just my opinion. When they would "STOP" changing your status, then expect something to happen. Because Timz status changed till yesterday and he received RFE today. Same thing happend with me today but I have NOT yet received it.

So I think when status changes daily, they are basically shuffling your case. Once it stops, it means that they have sent you an RFE or RFI and thats why they have stopped shuffling your case to wait for your response.

But again this is my guess.

My last update was 03/10/2005. I check it yerstaday. But still no masseges that RFE has been sent. I chek my e-mail every day- no masseges from CIS. Who knows how USCIS keep trak of this ?
Good luck, everyone!!!!!!! :)

I received my REQUEST OF INITIAL EVIDENCE today.

I'm going to move this week. In addition to writing my new address inside the form G-325A (biographical info), should I also fill out their special form for change of address and mail that separately?

Since I might be moving again, would it give INS my mailbox service's address where I have a box (Mailboxes etc)? (It is a full street address, not aPOBOX) ..because this way, I will always have this address, and doesn't matter how much I move, I will not lose INS's letters. I would appreciate if you can tell if this might cause any problems for me.

One more question.

Where am I supposed to send the:
1) doctor signed i-693
2) doctor signed supplement to i-693
3) filled out Biographical info sheet ( G-325A)

I understand that these all need to be sent in the same envelope, but nowhere does it say WHERE to send it!

:(

My date of "last update" stayed at 07/27/2004 till Mar-09-2005. Since when it began changing everyday. It shows today's date now. I guess this doesn't mean much.

I have the feeling that those CIS guy are rather collecting more evidence to get us "ready" than actually adjusting us, for most who just received RFE(initial) are those with ND of Aug-OCT 2000 and not much for those with NDs of early 2000.

I agree with Lolali. I would view it as a more possitive sign too if all the folks who applied in early hear from CIS as well, because our chances of getting GCs before those with earlier NDs are slight.

CIS just keeps us guessing. I am so tired of it.

I think it is a good sign. at least, USCIS has done something for us. When the settlement is done, the everything ready I-485 cases can be adjusted right away.
