RFE REceived: I-602 Waiver & Exact Travel Dates

I got the stupid RFE today. It says to file a I-602 waiver, can anyone tell me what should I write as the reason?...And it just says to give evidence of exact dates of your travel.....Espresso, did your RFE include LIN# of the travel documents?

Please help me fill the I-602 waiver whoever has done it.

I would not take any chances at this point. Just get the attorney and be done with this. You are just one step away from day D. Why asking for 'what to do' here?
 
The normal waiver form asks for inadmisibility due to Convictions,physical or mental conditions or maybe using false passport when you get here for the first time.I didn't hear Inadmisibility due to travel.
I might be wrong but we have permission to travel why do we have to be apply for waver???

They should have given you a reason for "inadmisibility", if you ask for a waiver (I-602). What is the reason they gave you, if you don't mind sharing?
 
The letter certainly has an explanation as to why they found you inadmissible. Is it visa fraud, false passport, criminal issues, health????Tell us and we can comment on it.
 
I-602 !!! Well my lawyers filled one for me and are filling another for my wife...without knowing the reason for it I would suggest using a lawyer (on mine the supporting docs alone were 35 pages) but Anyways let me know if you need any help....from what I've read (windy had a very good posting on I602 waiver) and from my lawyers the waiver it's granted almost every time

Sorry I was not clear. The I-602 waiver is for using False Passport.

Number 2 in the RFE is to give exact dates for Travel.
Samoel, Can you tell me what your lawyer wrote? Ihave a lawyer but I want to make sure he writes something right...

This is now a very common practice, thanks to 9/11. The good news is that they approve almost all of the waiver applications. Your waiver petition should focus on (1) your need to use the false passport to flee from your persecutors, (2) your otherwise good immigration record (if true), (3) the humanitarian nature of the US asylum program, (4) the US public interest in having asylees adjusted to LPR status and eventually productive citizens; (5) any close family members who are American citizens or green card holders; (6) your community ties in the United States) and (7) your professional/academic success in the United States after getting asylum.

You should procure letters of support from a few American citizens.

very good answer! of course if you do all of these you must be over-doing it but do as much as necessary to be safe..

Let me read what was filed in my I602 and I can either post here or PM me your email ...what is the deadline on the RFE?? Nov??

As my old professors at the University of Pennsylvania Law School told me, always marshal as many plausible theories as possible. Do not put all your eggs on one theory, especially when we have no published caselaw on point.

Ok better now..my account was locked because of invalid passwords....

I'm sorry for my lack of understanding, but what is the definition of fake passport ?
Is it really "fake" passport ?

ok buddy You have been found to be inadmissible or ineligible for adjustment of statu under section 212(a)(6)(c)(i). misrepresentation "Any alia who, by fraud or willfully misrepresenting a material fact, seeks to procure (or has sought to procure or has procured) a visa, other documentation, or admission into the United States or other benefit provided under this Act is inadmissible". Therefore,you must complete the attached form I-602 Application by Refugee for waiver of Grounds of Excludability. ok now :D it not a Big deal for asylee or refugee's only just stay focus in your old story of your asylum claime tell them that you had to other alternative but to used that fales passport to saved your life you are not the first one to get that I-602 show them that your country still a bad place for you to go back there if you have children here and wife tell them that your kids if they are American citizene is good but tell them you are inportan in your comminity gon on line find some of your country present condution and add couples of affidavit of suport from your comminity or church it better than friend letter do it and you got your G.C :D :D you see, more than 80% of asylee or refugee have no choise but to used a false passport to hide they identity in other to get out of they country of persecution and the ins knows that and I think they just trying to do they job to better serve you .
