RFE Question to Ginnu

Hello Ginnu,

I've seen you here several times answering questions about iEAD after receiving an RFE with answers like "USCIS must accept the documents first". I just wanted to ask whether they send a different message when they accept an RFE. I sent them back the RFE response, and my status currently says:

"On June 29, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 60 and 90 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

Is this accepting the response? Or should I be expecting another kind of message to recognize that they accepted the response?

----- they have recieved your RFE and now they will update only when EAD is approved
Is this accepting the response?

Or should I be expecting another kind of message to recognize that they accepted the response?
----- if they dont accept they will let you know, if RFE was for photographs, or marriage certificate or color copy of driving licence and passport page that is fine, they will accept and will approve the EAD.
*** I dont know the details of your RFE

Thank you, I appreciate your response. The RFE was on copies of old I-20s (I'm a new college grad). I sent good readable copies. Hopefully the EAD will be approved soon.
