RFE on AP

We filed for AP for my wife on 03/2002. Today AVM says that RFE was issues on AP. She received her EAD no problem.


Has anybody got an RFE on AP.

I forgot to renew my wife's H4 couple of years back and fixed by my lawyer saying it was an innocent mistake and she never left the country. We sent the entire copy of her passport.


Any help is appreicated.

It should be some silly document mistake. Keep us posted.
I fail to see the "correction" of the innocent mistake based on lawyer's say so. Anyway, it does not help you getting anxious about it until you see the actual RFE.

Hi,
This is my problem.I applied my 485 in july and got my EAD.On aug27th my wife's EAD&AP were approved ,EAD we got within 2 days,but not AP.
it is almost 2 weeks.what should i do?
contact INS(Neberska)or talk to attorney/go to the local INS office?will u please guide me?
if i go to local office they issue a new parole?
or they say that it is already issued?please guide me.Thanx in advance.

I received my EAD 2 days after approval at my home address but the AP went to the lawyers office 14 days after approval

i just checked with att: office &they received it on yesterday.Thanx a lot SPOL
I think u r from detroit &were planning to go to canada by road (if my memory is correct),did u go to canada?can u just give me the details &precaution to be taken?
1)is it necessary to take a new I-94 while entering back to usa(usually they dont issue if u r crossing the border by road).
2)If anything else is there can u post that information also.Thanx a lot in advance

About the innocent mistake, my company lawyer extended my H1 but forgot to extend my wife's H4. We found it later(8 mos) and the lawyer filed (Forms I donot remember) with INS that she didn't leave the country it is only a mistake that her H4 was not renewed. INS issued a new H4 from the expiry date of the old one so it looks as if she had the H4 all along.
