Any news for January cases? Who can figure it out what's going on?
The CSC has been almost ignoring WAC-02 cases filed in January thru September 2002 for a long time,
and recently started to issue RFE for WAC-03 cases, which first fingerprint is expiring soon, from 3/9/2004.
Most of WAC-02 applicants should have been told that the CSC would not do anything for fingerprint expiration.
Don't you want to let the CSC stop such a discrimination to WAC-02 applicants ?

The CSC had issued hundreds of (first) fingerprint notices to WAC03 applicants having filed in March or April 2003,
although a lot of WAC02 applicant's fingerprints have been expired.
Once Project Kashmir completed scan, it will be posted, but before that,
please visit RFE information thread and act now.
On 2/27/2004, the CSC had issued 639 Fingerprint Notices
to WAC-03-114 (ND 2/28/2003) thru WAC-03-159 (ND 4/29/2003)
although a lot of WAC02 applicant's fingerprints have been expired.

you guys are over reacting

From the scans two things are clear:

1) They are done touching all dec cases. ( multiply RFe cases by 2 since they don;t send RFE to dependents usually)
2) Their work on wac 03 series is very random not in an organized way.

That sums up one thing they are ready to move the Jit, but before that trying to sample the finger print expiry data like they did last time.

I would wait a week until a clear trend is seen.

I don't think so.
It is very clear and organized.

Kashmir,
i remember the 1st FP generation is automatic. and 2nd FP is at discretion of officer.
I think so the RFE is not automatic. in 1 or 2 weeks if you scan all data we should know what is the trend
thx

Kashmir,
By saying unorganized I mean they are not restricted to a range of WACs. RFE's generated are all sprayed all over the series which points that they are random samples for statistical purposes. USCIS (or CSC to be specififc) is not known for acting on applications on such a broad range.

Earlier they operated on 2 or three months window. It doesn't seem to be the case now. RFEs generated last month ranged from wac 03 000 to wac 03 150.

One thing I didn't understand is what is posted by one of the guys who received RFE. He says :

It also says "Please note that this request is being made with a primia facie review of the application in an effort to expedite adjudication of pending I-485 applications. Upon final review of the application, it may be found that additional items are needed."

Never in the past(atleast in the last 2 years) have we seen CSC issue so many RFEs in a week,so this trend could very well be for some data/stats that CSC is trying to collect or maybe for someother crap.

I am guessing we aren't going to see a flood wac-03 approvals before wac-02 cases are cleaned up.
