Revalidation

hI, I had send my passport for stamping at St Louis. Today I'm tracking via fexex trackingnumber. It says it has been picked up at Washington and Delivered at St Louis. Is this OK, or they should have directly delivered it to me.
Can someone please expalin me the procedure? Thank you Hema
 
Hi Hemlata

You should get the passport directly note in all likely hood in your "TO" address you might have mistakenly put the st louis address.
Since if you included a self addressed envelope once State department has done your processing (either way rejection or a new visa) they just give it to the courier company which in turn will see the "TO" address and deliver it to that address.

Note I don't think the state department uses your Fedex envelope to transfer back to st louis (even if they had to for some reason.)

reval_wait is correct. The passport doesnt go to St.Louis after processing.

----- that is correct, after the passport reaches St Louis it is sent to Washington fror Visa stamping

------ here is confusion if the DOS in Washington stamped the Visa then your fedex envelope with your address should come back to your address directly from WAS. after Visa stampin in WAS the passport is not sent to St Louis, it should come to you. did you write the address on return Fedex envelope as:

TO,
your name, your address
From .
your name your address?

Is this OK, or they should have directly delivered it to me.

You can send a fax request to the following number
St. Louis Fax: 202-663-1608. Also send a Fed Ex or some other Courier number to them.

documents needed for h1 revalidation

hi guys, what are the documents that are needed for h1 revalidation?
i am planning to sent it to washington. my h1 expires may31, 2004. i have a new h1 till march 2006. is there a thread or link that gives all details?
