Residency proof

I moved to NJ in Jan. I submitted mail forwarding request with USPS but did not changed my address with Banks/Credit cards until April. I do not have lease agreement or utility bills because I rented on month to month basis. But I did received SSN statement in Feb to my new address. The SSN statement show my NJ address.

During the interview if IO ask for address proof is the SSN statement is good enough.

Thanks

Yes, I do have NJ DL and notified USCIS(AR-11) but these documents are dated later not in Jan.

When did you notify USCIS of your change of address? You'll need to be able to show 3 months of residency in the district area you are applying from. SSN statement by itself is not sufficient to show district residency..the IO will likely ask for other info including driver's license, and take into consideration when you notified USCIS of move.

I remember updating USCIS (AR 11) about my address change in 2007. But I don't have any proof with me right now. How can I check if I had changed my address with USCIS or not?

Call up USCIS and speak with a rep. They will be able to confirm the address they have on file for you .

I notified USCIS (AR-11) online sometime in Feb but due to printer issues I was not able print the confirmation. As far as DL is concerned I changed to NJ in May. Is it possible to get a copy of AR-11 submission from USCIS.

You can call USCIS and ask them to confirm when their records show you submitted AR-11.

Call them is enough?. I mean is that info available for IO during interview.

Yes, calling them is enough. The IO will be able to display it on their screen at interview.
It will be up to IO to decide whether you have satisfactorily established residency ties for at least 3 months in the service area you have applied from.

Do they have all the history of our AR 11 filings?

What do they ask for? A Number? or N400 application number?

I don't remember if I have filed AR11 after I got the green card to my current address but updated to the current address just before applying N400 to make sure they have my info etc.,

Do you think calling them would help?

They will ask for you A# and will be able to confirm address on file and when it was changed.

I have called them but the rep. said unfortunately they don't have access to personal records and she cannot confirm.
She said whatever address we have provided in N-400 form will be used for further communication/processing etc.
(I remember changing the address online using AR-11 but just wanted to confirm this as I don't have the receipt).

In that case an IO over phone or Infopass can confirm as they have different system access as reps.
