Resetting 6 years by going to Canada as PR. How to show proof you stayed?

Hi there,

I have to go to Canada as PR and stay 1 year to reset my 6 years in the US.

Quick question: What do you need to have after 1 year when the employer re-applies for a new H1B? As far as I know going to Canada (by your own car) will not produce a stamp in the passport so how do you show proof you stayed 1 year abroad?

-------------one can also giveI-94 to Canada immigration and the will pass it to US immigration. if you request canada immigration you can get the stamp in passport
