Request for evidence

I recently received a request for evidence (RFE) for my application. USCIS is asking me to provide dates of residence in every country I've lived in since birth. I've had short visits (less than 2 months) to a couple of countries before coming to the states, but otherwise I've been a resident of my home country all my life. Should I include those countries I visited in my response to the RFE or not?. My understanding is that residence is different than just a visit, I would be grateful if someone can provide some guidance. Thanks.

Do you have a lawyer to assist you with the case ?
Talk to your lawyer soonest !!!

I think your lawyer can assist you with that question immigration laws can be very complicated , you can be sent request for evidence (RFE) based on your application which indicates deficiency in your pending case or benefit which has incomplete or inconsistency based on what you submitted ,Those Countries you have traveled and stayed for a period of time indicate them with place, dates and purpose of travel ,You may have to provide paper evidence eg a ticket ,an invitation letter on the foreign visit etc

You can provide Request of Evidence based on your application form is lacking. You can have proof of short visit to the countries , If USCIS request for those evidence, you can show them & you can explain to the immigration officer about your situation.

Every single RFE i read here are from people who filed for asylum without a lawyer! That's why people should hire a lawyer to avoid problems in the near future.
