Per FEB Bulletin, visas are available upto 22Apr01 for EB3. Did Mr. William actually mention that you will get a Visa number in March. I don't know how he can predict that at this time. But if he did it is very encouraging for me too b/c my PD is Sep2001. There is news going on that visas will moved forward faster. BTW I am in EB3 worldwide category.

The
visa bulletin is already published for February 2006 and according to

Preference employment-based for the country of India, you must have a
priority
date of August 01, 2001 or earlier. Your priority date is October 15,
2001.
It
seems to have progressed from the January bulletin, from January 01,
2001 to
August 01, 2001, so check back with us in March 2006 to see if a visa
will
be
available then. Thank you.

FBI Namecheck cleared
Hello all,
I recived word last week that my namecheck was cleared by FBI (thanks to my congresswoman's efforts). I also received confirmation from Mr Williams regarding the same, he further said that my case should process within the next 90 days. Hoping for the best.
PS: Does anyone know how long it usually takes for adjudication after namecheck is cleared.? Note my PD is current.
Also, My original labor which was filed in Sep/Oct-2001 cleared 2 weeks back.

I got very fast replay to my questions from Mr. Williams (within same bussiness day). The guy is really great!!!
1) My Name check got cleared
2) CSC will mail the FP notice (again?!?)
The only thing I forgot to ask is how much time it will take to get FP notice...

Both these priority dates are from my labors. The earliest 10/20/2000 is from my first labor. I had a previous GC process and had my I-140 approved and was about to file for my 485 when the company I was working for shutdown.
When I filed for GC for the second time I applied for new labor. When I had to file for 485 I requested that my old priority date be used (can be done if I140 was approved in previous process).
So my current application is using my priority date from my first GC process.
Some benefit from first lost GC process.

Short update: the LUD changed from 06/24/2005 to 01/30/2006 with no change in the message. I assume that is the result of my inquiry to CSC (Mr. Williams) by email (CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov).
Does this indicate good news??

Your case cannot resume processing at this time because according to the
Dept.
of State's visa bulletin,a visa is not currently available to you. We will
continue to monitor the visa bulletin on a monthly basis and will complete
the
adjudication of your case when a visa becomes available.
Please help me interpret this....is my name check cleared(I am not even sure if my case went for Name check).
I am EB3, PD: April 2001, 485 RD: June 2002

I think that the " Currently no visa numbers available" e-mail is in response to senator or congressmans office calling USCIS to check name check /485 status. In my case the date when the congressmans office contacted USCIS and the date when I received this e-mail from Mr.Williams is the same. I am wondering if this could be true with any of you too? (Not all contact senator/congressman)
Except for Mr.Williams everything else is a deadlock w.r.to GC process, the 1-800 number automated message and the customer service reply was always same. After couple of occassions, you will start to recognize the voice on the other side of phone. I don't know how someone call this a service, instead it could be called a curse.
