When renewing RTD i have 3 questions:

1- do i need to attach the old (expired one)?
2- are all the RTD applications sent to Nebraska Service Center no matter where you're residing?
3- What should i put in the space" Class of Admission"?, i forgot what i put last year.
thanks a lot of the help in advance.

1) The application says so, but a lot of people keep it.
2) Yes (as far as I know)
3) Asylee

This what I know from applying for RTD before. I might be wrong so hopefully somebody else will reply as well to confirm my suggestion.

Good luck

thanks MGTgrl, i was reading the application instruction and i didn't see where it says i should attach the old RTD with the application or maybe i over looked it?

1 If the old one has expired you shouldn't send it. You can just send a copy of the first page prooving that it has expired. If it hasn't expired yet you should send it along with an application.

Yes, Minsk is right. If you look under Refugee Travel Document on page 2 of the Instruction page it says that if it's valid you have to return it to get a new one unless you can prove that it's lost.

In my case when I was renewing, I got confused with what i was supposed to do. I sent my RTD and Kept a copy of it. I got new one...my old RTD was expire at the time I was applying for the renewal. I don't know if that was the requirement, but that was how I did it, and I had no problem in doing so...
