I'm in a research position since H1B; my employeer apply for LC as Technologist , and I was approved in March after 4 years. Now they want me to stay in research without adjust the wage since the job description in LC as tech is no longer available (at least for the moment); I agree since I like my job and the employeer is nice people , but I wonder if there will be a problem, now or when I will try to adjust for citizenship, because of that. Can this situation be considered as fraud? even when both parts agree? any ideas?

This is a forum for AFTER you get GC.

If what you describe is a problem, it will become a problem BEFORE you get GC.

The question is best asked on a GC forum.

Thanks, Nelsona, but may be I wasn't clear: I received my GC in March, that's why I'm posting here, my job under H1 is different from my LC description...

You have opened a new chapter in your life after getting the GC. Anything
that happened before that period is all forgotten so you don't have to worry
about anything.

Just make sure that you work with your sponsor for at least a period of one year before changing jobs. Keep the I485 approval notice, keep track of
your travel dates, and most importantly don't get involved with any criminal
activity.

These things will take you through your citizenship process with not much problems.

Good luck

Sorry, I read "when I try to adjust" and thought AOS.

Also, you said your "employer apply for LC as Technologist , and I was approved in March after 4 years". I though that meant your LC was approved after four years.

Not the most accurate account....

You and your employer are fine. the idea that GC will be revoked at naturalization process is far overblown on these forums.

Thank you so much, howdy and nelsona, I thought that if USCIS in 5 years don't see a difference in W2's immediately after GC then that means you didn't get the approved position at that moment; I will stay with my employeer for at least a year.
