I have got 2 offers from 2 different companies in US..I am in confusion as to which company I shud go with..and I am taking some time to decide. But meanwhile I dont want to miss the H1 Quota bus..So can someone tell me if both of the employers can apply H1s respectively and later upon my choice I can go with one employer.

Appreciate your responses.

Thanks.

So,

you will apply TWICE and eat up H1 quota number TWICE?

No wonder, H1 is expected to run out in ONE DAY.

Genuine US employers can'y get any H1 when all desi boddy shoppers file in the thousands, without projects on hand, etc..... And then we all wonder why H1 visa folks get such bad rep.

In my opinion, USCIS should enforce industry cap for H1 too, that way IT professionals will not dominate the scene and other professionals, (dentists, chemists, teachers, engineers etc) can get their fair share of H1 quota.

I would add: Make a decision so you don't minimize the chances for other H1B applicants.

Great thought. Why don't you write to any senator / lobbyist to implement it.

Hmm. USCIS is supposed to check for duplicate folks and adjust cap accordingly. One person cannot use up two H1b numbers
