Reentry on visitor's visa within 3 months of prior visit

My father visited us last year for 6 months and he left to India in February of this year. Now we need to bring him back to U.S. for some personal reasons. He has a 10 year multiple entry visa.

1. Do I need to send any supporting documents such as an invitation leter ?
2. Would there be any problems at POE as he is returning within 3 months of his last visit?

Appreciate any help or suggestions

I will be in same boat as ur in another 4-5 months. Can you tell me if everything is okay when your father in law passed the POE. How many months did he get?

1. No, but every little thing helps.
2. Yes. If he has already been here for 6 months and out for 3, we will consider him an immigrant. It will be up to him to prove otherwise. It won't be easy, but it is possible that we may admit him for a limited stay.
 
Any updates on this? How long do we have to wait for my parents to re-enter US?

Hi,

Any UPdates on this? My parents came last year in October. And we want them to come here again this year so that they can see the Summer. ITs only winter that they have seen so far. So how long do we have to wait to get then here into US Again? Can you please help me?

They can attempt to seek re-entry. It depends on the POE officer to make the decision whether to grant or deny entry. The key is to show visitor intent and visitor intent only.
