Reentry into US on old employers visa

I have a valid stamped visa with my old employer. That visa expires on April 1, 2003. I changed employer and my new I-729 approval is valid until November 2004. I don't have enough time to get my visa revalidate as I am planning to go to India in March for 2 weeks. I am planning to come back on March 30 with my old visa stamping which is valid only for a day at that time. I will carry my approved I-797 which is valid until 2004.
Will there be any problem at POE because at that time I will have only one day of valid visa. I won't be having enough time in India to get my visa stamping done. Please help visa gurus.
 
No problem. You should be ok. Make sure to get I94 with new expiry date. If POE inspector refuses, demand to see the supervisor.
