To All: I am a Recommended Approval Asylee and I need to travel to Singapore to some business/personal reason. I am an asylee from Indonesia. What do I need to get for traveling? is it an Advance parole or Re entry permit ? Anyone in my shoes before ?

You are still an asylum applicant and you are not an asylee yet. You will need to follow the procedures for asylum applicants. You will have to apply for advance parole and the USCIS has the discretion to approve/deny it. Then you will have the issue of do/can you use a passport to travel. Bottom line is that you can travel but it will not be easy. It is much better to wait until you are granted asylum.

its not safe to do so as u r not an asylee yet cos just like u can't receive federal or state assistance with recomended asylum approval paper or Judge's approval with goverment's lawyer's promise to appeal the case, these two are not final although no one is gonna appeal your case as you were given this temporary approval from asylum officer and you are sure to get final approval unless you have past criminal record or your asylum application is later found to be false.
So you may not be given advance parole to travel, even if given,, you may have futur e problem. so don't do this stupid mistake!
take care

i got a letter 2 weeks after my interview. The letter says recommended approval waiting for finger print and fbi name check. But both are cleared as of 4 months ago.
