recommend for approval but case is under supervisor review

Hi All,

I had N-400 nterview ( 5year rule)last friday . Interview lasted about 25 mins. At the end officer gave me a result stating that- He will recommend case for approval. But the same day case status changed to -Post decision activity- Case is under supervisor review. Is it normal for all case to be reviewed by supervisor?

There some standard reasons: criminal history, temporary file used for the interview, certain medical waiver cases, BUT some newer officers will be monitored more closely by their supervisor as an extra quality check.

Do you have any of the standards issues? It might just be a newer officer that interviewed your case.

I had 1 public intoxication 6 yrs ago. is that true - All N-400 application is reviewed by 2 officer?

This is a required step. You disclosed it and provided documentation, right? It is a matter of routine and what you have described not disqualifying.
