Recently approved TN visa

I have recently approved for TN visa which supposed to start on June 1, 2016 which was written on the job letter so I reported to my employer on that day but apparently my orientation is move to July 9, 2016. After staying 1 week to US , I went back to Canada because I have not resigned yet from my job. Do you think it would be a problem when I go back to US in July?

Thanks.

Your TN is completely valid. In fact, your employer should probably start paying you already.

Thanks Nelsona , do I need to ask a letter from my employer that my orientation will be delayed instead of starting my job in June?

just to add to Nelsona's comment, your TN started the day you showed up at the border and got the approval. Now whether you start working for your employer today or one month from today doesnt matter. Note that your future TN renewals will be dependent on the date you got the TN, NOT the date you actually start working at the company

Indeed, this is more in line with what used to happen almost universally: you would go to the border as soon as you got a letter and CBP would admit you in TN, regardless of stating date, with one-year expiry from THAT DATE (this is in the days when TN's were only one year). Essentially, you lost whatever lead time between the entry date and the start date, but this allowed you time to give notice in Canada, get your SSN, apartment, utilities, whatever, before you started working -- great advantage, but you had to renew in 11 months-- well worth the sacrifice of two-three weeks.

Now, with 3-year TN, that would be even less of a sacrifice. So, you should be using this opportunity -- in US -- to get your self settled, esp. getting SSN.
