Ring Zing, I counted 28 approvals in the last week

I agree that all of them are not April, May and some of them are not listed on CIBA and PCees list.
But I tend to believe the approvals. There is no reason for 28 people to provide false data.

That is indeed a start of the flood.....i would say.
I am definitely expecting a tons of approvals on Thursday and Friday in this week.
If not 45 then another 30.

Sent FAX on 08/01 requesting an FP notice and I believe this helped...
 FP 08/08(scheduled for 10/31)
 I think doing FP ahead of schedule(2 months earlier) caused an RFE..
 RFE responded 10/27
 AVM updated with RFE response 12/29

Sent FAX on 01/05 for Level 1 inquiry and I believe this helped...
 AVM says case approved 01/22

Will wait for the approval notice in mail...
 Am not on CIBA\'s list, since the list AS IS was growing bigger but its
 a one heck fantastic job that CIBA has been doing....
 I believe CSC is moving forward with all the RFE cases and March/April
 Notice Date folks should expect approval soon.

Called IIO several times(maybe 20-30) during the past 3 yrs and personally
 I feel calling them does not affect our application, again its only
 my gut feeling...

Will post my experience after PP stamping in San Jose..

My case is approved on yesterday (Jan 22nd) and details are as follows:

EB1 Category as it was done with L1A visa.

Hello Folks,

I heard the Magic words this morning that 485 is approved for me and my wife. Strange i checked last night at 8:45pm and it still said the same usual message. However this morning the AVM said the case is approved.

Thanks to everybody on this board for plenty of information. Here are my case Details:
WAC-01-143-XXXXX ND 03/28 FP - done on July 19th. Since then waiting for approval. I do not know if this helped but last week on this board i saw a discussion saying somebody got the approval after sending a Fax inquiry.
So i did fax a inquiry myself @ these no\'s: (949) 389 3482,(949) 643 1538, (949) 389 3484.

HAng on March/April ND\'s, most of you all are very very close. CIBA, please update my case info on your tracking site.

Just checked the AVM which confirmed this for my wife and me. (Jan 23, 2002).

FP Notice date: 11/1/2001
FP Scheduled: 12/12/2001 in San Jose
FP Done: 11/6/2001 in San Jose
FP Received by INS from FBI: 11/16/2001
Processing Resumed: 12/29/2001 (Whatever that means)
AD: 1/23/2002.

Whoa! I\'ll get our passports stamped next week in San Jose.
The entire process took about 1 year + 2 months.

I am not listed on any list, but a frequent visitor to this site.

Ring Zing - can you append the count since 1st Jan?

Since you are maintaining the recent approvals list almost from start of Jan 2002,
can you do a little exercise and count all the approvals since Jan1, 2002 and append in the subject line of your wonderful thread.

I feel, since 10th Jan 2002, we have seen close to 50 approvals on this site.
IF you could gather the numbers, we can reduce anxiety level of lot of folks including you and me.

We got around 50 approvals in the month of January so far.
I guess they started from second week.
This means we got so many approvals in less than 10 working days.
I would rate this as flood......for sure
We still have so many waiting (approx.)
120-60 = 60 for April
100 - 10 = 90 for May
100- 1 = 99 for June total 250 upto June
June onwards all.
So with current speed, it should take roughly 50 working days to clearoff upto June end 2001.
 
No 51- sdvidwan - rd 06-11-2000 CSC is moving real real fast - this is a june rd approval

My case is approved on 23rd according to AVM !!!

Guys,

Finally heard the words \'Approved on Jan 24\' for all of us.

My details are in top line - so I\'m not repeating it - just AVM stuff - it was initially \'FP recd on Oct 17 and pending review\' and later changed to \'Dec 29 and processing resumed\'.

Also, I had talked 2 times to IIO in end-Oct and early Nov - but then stopped calling during daytime - just a regular AVM check every night at 9 on weekdays for last 60-70 days - today first time got late and checked at 11 p.m.

Thanks to all the participants on this Board. I feel very good and thankful about people like Rajeev Khanna, Ciba, PCee and others who make this somewhat almost tortuous Green Card journey bearable. Also, thanks to the fellow waiters - Henrysh (Congrats!!), Bongo, Jony Lever, Vishnu Mahadev, Dee Rod, RingJing and others. Good luck to all who are weaiting.

My case has been approved on 24th Jan according to voice message. It is a
huge relief. I have been on this board for about a month. It is wonderful
 place.to get an rough estimate. But at the same time, it makes impatient
, or makes addict to look everyday. I never thought it would be like I would
go so impatient to look about my approval. I have filed three patents in
a very stable and renowned company. It is not that I am showing off.

I am so grateful to everyone, who helped with my frustration. I wish the
everyone the best here. I know the people answered my question, and
they treated with respect a newcomer,
