Just now checked AVM, and heard the words, "Approved ... ". Over past few days, I have been hearing lot of bad words about myself on this forum. Now, my GC wait is over and the time has come when I am ready to accept good wishes from all of you guys.

The forum has been quite helpful in the taking initiative to post various (milestone) dates with their I-485 stage and thereby tracking the pattern. Lately, somebody, over the board has started making fake IDs and pushing the blame on me. I am surprised to see that most of the forum members are mistaken this being my activity. In the past, I have always tried helping fellow members with their questions, organizing and tracking cases, reducing the stress by adding some humor to the posts. Not to mention againm, I am a constructive guy with positive attitude and would never ever resolve to stupid destructive tacticts of making fake IDs.

If anybody of you feel hurt by any of my postings, please forward the URL of such posting, I will tender written unconditional apologies for the same and will delete any such posting from the forum. Please don\'t judge and punish anybody based on falsified data.

May God help us regaining the solidarity of this site!

Another April RD approval

My attoney got the approval notice on Feb 11th so the approval date should be Feb 9th.
The interesting thing is that I went back to China for vacation on Feb 9th and I kept checking AVM every night until Feb 8th and no updated until then.
I guess I will still have to use AP when I get back to the States. Anyone has similar experinece?

At last I got the approval notices in the mail for me and my wife even though the AVM is not yet updated...
Following are the case details for me:

RFE replied with receipt notice of I140 04/01..AVM updated 05/01
New I140 approved 08/01
Approval notice date 02/06/02
I would like to thank personally to Ciba and all others who extended required guidance to me during the process. Keep up the good work.
I do not know whether I am there in Ciba\'s list or not but would request to add me in the list as my case would provide necessary guidance to the people with RFEs for new/amended I140.

Even though in my approval notice Last Name was missing...She wrote my last name on the approval notice...no questions asked.

The last time I cheecked AVM was on last saturday and it still said " FP collected on Dec 6th and pending review" my message never changed to "FP has been reviewed and processing resumed"

02/98: PD (EB2, China)
06/00: Regular LC approved
09/00: I-140 approved
03/01: I-485 ND (WAC 01-136-xxxxx) (I-485 filing was delayed. I was pushing the company lawyer very hard to file 485 but he gave all kinds of excuses to delay it).
07/01: FP
10/01: Tranferred to LA for interview
12/01: Received interview notice
01/31/02: Interview date (Not approved. Needed more review and waiting for CIA clearance.)
01/14/02: Received approval

I thank everyone on this board for providing a helpful info, especially, vishnu, pc, and rsgc.
I found something disappointed here in last 2 weeks when we were trying to post messages against each other. I think we should act more maturily and shouldnt escalate the things. Also, we should try to maintain the puprose of this baord.

the AVM msg is still "1/11... resumed..."
but the IIO said that my case was approved on 2/14 but there
are still some formal process needed before the approval notice
can be sent out.....

Thanks to people like PCee and Ciba it seemed that there was a process in the otherwise not so transparent INS processes. I guess just as a habit I will be checking this web site at least twice a day before the reality sinks in.
