RD - May 16.
ND - July 17
FP Scheduled date - 12/27
FP done - 12/27
AVM pending review - 12/29
Processing resumed - 01/17
Approved - 01/28/02.

finally heard the magic words, as per AVM my case has been approved on 1/30.

Fingerprints received - 10/26 , scheduled 11/29, done earlier 11/6 at san jose.

got the following AVM message update

975-995 days ....
changed to
nov 16 th pending review..
changed to approved.

never got the processing resumed, was checking almost daily since end NOV.

I want to thank everyone in this board for sharing info and maintaining great tracking lists. ( PCee i had your page in my favourites ), and i must be visitng it 10 times a day.

I checked the AVM yesterday. Both my wife and I have been approved on 1/28/2002. EB2,China, PD 4/1/2001, AP 7/2002, EAD 6/2002, FP 12/27/2001, AP 1/28/2002 Wait for FP for 8 months. Then I asked my layer to send a Fax inquiry on beginning of Nov. INS responsed on 11/23/2002, And issued the FP notice at same day.

Today i recd the mail saying that my application for PR has been approved and the notice date in it was 01/28/2002. This is a courtesy copy and it says the original is sent to my attorney.

FP - 11/14/2001
AD - 01/28/2002

Got mail this weekend that the application for I-485 has been approved.
    Will go San Jose INS office in comming days.
    Guys keep the good work up, I am sure everyone of us will be through this sooner that you think.

something is out of synch here

EB3 didn\'t become current till July for people with PD of May 2000, MatStopper may have been lucky mailing 10 days before July 1st.
 
Things don\'t add up with "ND\'s" case. EB3 was not current then....

In Mat Stopper\'s case he was less than 2 weeks early. ND\'s dates indicate s/he was 2 months early. Does INS not reject those cases. Wouldn\'t a lawyer desist from applying before a PD became current? And FP is in Dec 2000? Hmmmm!
"ND" please clarify the details. Maybe you mistyped one or more of the details. Don\'t blame you, you were probably very excited on getting approved. Congrats and Enjoy!
 
probably ND is not coming from China/India

Other country\'s priority date for EB3 become current long time
before July.... if she is not from China/India, that is possible.

Yes, EB3 did become current in July 2001 for all EB3\'s but that does not mean that no EB3 could apply for 485 before that. It depends on ur PD.
I am not sure what ND\'s PD was (funny?) but assuming it was say Jan 1 1999, ND would be able to apply in May because at that time dates were current for people whose pd was on/b4 jan 1 1999.
And since in July 2001 everybody became current it did not matter what PD we had.

Yes you are right

My PD is April 1998. EB3 INDIA
I applied for 485 in May 2001(Until then I was waiting for it)
So, there may be people like me applied in April, May and June 2001
I hope this will clear some people doubt that how EB3 people applied in those months.
