Received GC and what should I do with social security number?

hi Everyone
I received my conditional GC and applied it by using my old social security number which I received when I was in F-1.
Do I need to call social security and change my status?

I received my social security number in MA and file my GC in MO. So which social security office I should call?

You need to physically go to your local SSA office and request a new card. The number will not change.

You can go now and take care of the legend on your card. If you don't mind the legend, you can wait until you become a citizen and then go. It is your choice. If you go now, you still need to go when you become a citizen

That I know too. I just mentioned that in the same breath, not realising it has the potential to mislead that it has a connection to SSA. I apologise for that.
