Hello,
Mine and our family's GC was approved and we received the card end of July 2007. In the middle of July, I called the NSC asking them status of my daughter's GC Application.

Today, after one month's of GC reciept, I see a letter which states that

"on 7/26 , We created a Permenent resident card to you and mailed it to the address we had on the file at that time. You have notified that you have not received it and post office has not returned to us . We must conclude that it has been lost in mail. Therefore you need to file form I-90......
"

I NEVER SAID TO NSC Custpmer SERVICE THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE THE CARD, I ASKED THEM WHAT IS THE STATUS OF I-485.

Do I need to call NSC and tell them not worry about anything? Or I can ignore this letter?

Please let me know,
Thanks in Advance.

I got an identical letter today "You have notified that you have not received it and post office has not returned to us". It went to old address and forwarded by postal service.

What the hell is this? I got teh card, and never even called USCIS after that. How could this be?

If i ignore it, is it possible that I'll have problems entering the country if this card is suspended?

Email raja,

Just ignore this letter...
You should not have any problems entering till such tine you have valid GC

I received my GC in August. I too received a similar letter in September from TSC in response to a Service Request raised in mid July. The morons do not seem to be realize that they are responding so late to a Service Request raised 1 month before the green card was mailed. Why can't they simply add a line "If you have already received the card, please ignore this letter"?
Anyway I called the 1-800 help line and the CSR told me to ignore this letter.

I got exactly the same letter, but when i called the UCSIS they suggested me to wirte back a letter to them and explain them that I don't need to file I-90 because i have already receieved my card, otherwise they will keep sending you letters.

I had a similar situation on my first re-entry with my 10 year GC. Upon swiping my GC, the ICE officer informed me that their records show that I still have my old 2 year GC. My 2 year old GC was taken 3 months before that at the Chicago DO, the day they processed my I-90 after the I751 approval. The officer told me to write to USCIS to update their "system" so that ICE know I do not have 2 GCs. I ignored the advice after reading a few other forums. Upon my next re-entry, 3 months later, the problem had rectified itself. I guess in that time frame, Chicago/NSC updated their "system".
