Received a letter from FBI regarding Name Check

Congrats TXLCRIR on ur NC clearance and Good Luck on I485.

Can someone tell me about my next step to be. Please look at my signature for the details. As per TSC immig. officers over phone , they say my NC is still pending... Hope it gets cleared by the time my FP2 is done i.e 24th May 2007.
 
Unfortunatelly, it didn't work for me.
My FPs have expired 3 months ago, but I did not received FP notice.
Interesting thing is that my wife has received the second FP notice in time. (April 2007)
I called several times to NSC and TSC trying to resolve this issue, but
was getting very stupid answers, like "the system does not want to send
send you a FP notice, which means that your FPs are OK!"
Or "We don't send you a FP notice because your security checks are still pending".
1)They cannot be OK if they are over 15 months limit, so the only conclusion
I can make is that something is wrong with their "system" and their service representatives.
2)From this forum I see that many of the people are getting 2-nd FP notice with
pending NC, so I cannot accept the "pending" argument.

Looks like a big mess to me.

Hi TXLCRIR,

I also saw an LUD on my case yesteday and today got the email message of '485 approved'........

Am I glad that this is over...

EB-2 became "current" now, today, I called USCIS service:

1) Is my NC cleared? the lady did answer: Pending.
2) Why did not I receive second FP so far (my 1st FP was done in Aug, 2005).
The lady did answer: it depends on NC, you will get 2nd FP after NC cleared.

Does you guys think this is true for her answers? Thanks!!

Dont believe anything they say. Me and spouse had our second FPs some 10 days ago. I subsequently found out my NC was clear and my 485 got approved later. My spouse's 485 isnt approved yet, by the way. Today, I called TSC and found out that her NC is pending.
 
Info pass told, name check pending, Customer service says cleared

I went to infopass, a day before second FP notice. the lady did not give much info. she just told, we are working on case and is pending security check. gave FP next, no LUD till date.

So today i called customer service, she told me that there are 2 I140 approved(July 2005,Nov 2002,EB2),which is true and name check is cleared last year in Aug. She also said, case is not assigned to any officer and she is going to write to some body(donot know who), so that they will work on case. Office will work depending on Work load.

In the begining, i asked what is the problem, she directly told, could be stuck in name check. after a min, she checked cases and told the above info. while on phone, it seems, she was checking something

donot know, if the lady really told correct info or not. will call after another week
